Due to ongoing developments with COVID-19 we regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to close our walk in. This will help us keep staff and physicians healthy. If you have any immediate health care needs please call our office during normal business hours and we will do our best to provide you with continuity of care.
Regular scheduled appointments will be conducted over the phone until further. This will allow us to significantly increase safety for everyone who needs to access or works in our health care system. With the increase in phone volume we acknowledge that contacting the office maybe difficult. The best time to call is between 8:30am - 10:00am. Please have patients and continue trying, as all calls that get through will be answered between 8:30am and 3:00pm.
We would like to also take this opportunity to stress the importance of self isolating if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms and to remind everyone to practice social distancing.
We thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility and co-operation during this difficult time.
What is it?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses found mostly in animals. In humans, they can cause diseases ranging form the common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV). The new coronavirus has been named COVID-19.
Do you have a fever and/or new onset or worsening of a chronic cough AND in the last 14 days travelled? Please self isolate and CALL the office. We will be able to advise whether or not testing is needed. If so we will arrange a safe screening time.
